Funds are drawn down per query and never expire. Nothing is charged automatically when the balance runs out -- queries stop until you add more.
Signing in happens by completing a Checkout, so there is no password to type on a second machine. This hands that machine the session this browser already has — useful when your MCP client lives somewhere other than where you paid.
